So we've had an amazing evening and now it is time to rest our heads. We have you covered. We want to share with you local hotel accommodations that are easy to get you to and from the party.

Embassy Suites by Hilton

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Sugarloaf Hotel is within walking distance to the Hudgens Arts and Learning Center. Any by walking distance, I mean, they basically share the same parking lot.

Words by Sharon, herself

When I was very young I developed an interest in airplanes. My dream job was to be an air traffic controller yet we all know how that turned out. I can honestly say I don't regret it because the path I chose was less stressful and I think a lot more enjoyable. Instead of sitting in a tower watching and controlling planes, I am seated on the plane traveling which I love. It was on my first flight from Georgia to Columbia, South Carolina that I fell in love with traveling, and flying.

My Love of traveling has taken me all across the world. From countries like England, to Mexico. To state side get-a-ways such as Hawaii, Greenville, SC and others.

I love them all and I have memories that will last forever. In some places I made new friends, and in other places I was in the presence of loved ones. I can honestly say that every trip was filled with love; love for life, love of friends and family and most of all love for the many wonders created by God. For some reason I am drawn to places where I feel close to nature. Places that calm me and give me a sense of peace and tranquility.

On my trip to Hawaii I spent a lot of time on the beach. I had breakfast overlooking the water, and spent my nights with my friends laying in the grass watching some of the most incredible sunsets. Just as special was the hike up Diamond Head State Monument. Atop of the monument were breathtaking views of the ocean. Wow, was I tired when I got back down LOL.

In Cancun I was surrounded by the ocean. My stay was short so I had to make the most of it. Upon arrival I didn't really take time to unpack. It was party time near the water, which I have decided is my most favorite place (the water). That night I was introduced to something new, a Mayan Ritual. It was beautiful and exciting, and dare I say unforgettable. The next day was all about enjoying friends, family, food, partying and being engulfed in my surroundings. I was so grateful for the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Yucatán peninsula.

Jamaica is so beautiful I have been multiple times. My experiences were totally different each time. Oh, and there is nothing like riding on a van or bus getting to your destination! One trip was all about Rest and Relaxation. It is situated in the Caribbean Sea. What better place to relax than laying beside the quiet sea. There were spas, and activities during the day. Live music and dancing at night. On my most recent trip we went to Montego Bay by way of Ocho Rios to meet up with friends. I attended a wedding on the beach, karaoke night, comedy shows, and live performances. I ate some delicious meals, and sad to say, drank too much LOL.

Bahama Mama, Rum Runner are some of the most popular drinks in the Bahamas. I have traveled to the Bahamas by boat and by air. Of course my favorite way was by air. I like flying because I have an opportunity to spend more time at my destination. On one occasion I witnessed a grown man climb a coconut tree to get coconuts to sell on the beach. He was trying to make a living. I visited a famous and popular place to eat near Cable Beach called, " Fish Fry." It was there that I first tried Conch Fritters. I must say surprisingly enough, they were good. I spent more time sightseeing, eating and going to different markets.

As you can see, I love tropical places. El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico is a prime example and It was simply beautiful. The waterfalls were stunning. The time just seemed to fly by as I walked through the amazing wonders that were before my eyes. There were beautiful birds. Yukkie crawling creatures and tons of people just talking about the incredible views. Every where you looked there were waterfall and mountain views. It is a long way from the bottom to the top so don't try hiking unless you're a seasoned hiker.

These are just a few of my experiences. The funny part about my love for beaches and water is that I absolutely cannot swim. I just feel the need to be close to peaceful shores. It is my happy place, and there I felt closest to God.
